What Is Sin?
Sin is anything that goes against God’s Word. When we ignore God’s way and follow our own, we separate ourselves from Him.
“Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.” – James 4:17
It’s a decision that changes everything—not just for today, but for eternity. Choosing to follow Jesus means stepping into a new life filled with purpose, peace, and the promise of eternal life. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or ready to fully surrender your heart to God, we’re here to walk with you on this life-changing journey. Below, you’ll find the clear steps to begin your new relationship with Christ.

Yes. When you choose to disobey God, you do not feel close to God or happy with your life. Without God’s forgiveness, punishment continues after death.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 6:23
YES. God loves you so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to pay the price for your sin. He gave His life so that those who believe and trust in him would be saved for all eternity.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son…” – John 3:16
Jesus is God’s son and He lived a perfect life, showed us how to love and serve, and then gave His life for our sins. To trust Him is to believe that because of His sacrifice, we have the opportunity for salvation and that salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone.
“Trust in God; trust also in me.” – John 14:1
“We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved.” – Acts 15:11
The Bible says that you must be sorry (repent) for your sins. You must pray to God and ask God to forgive your sins. You must trust in Jesus to save you from the punishment that you deserve. Then you must promise to follow Jesus’ example and do your best to live in ways that honor God.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
If you love me, you will obey what I command (John 14:15).
It’s simple. He’s listening. Here’s a special prayer you can pray
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I ask You to forgive me of my sins. Wash me by Your blood and make me new. I confess You as my Lord and Savior. I believe You rose from the dead. From this day forward, I am Yours. My past is over. My future is bright. My name is written in heaven. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Baptism is a public declaration that you’ve chosen to follow Christ. Jesus was baptized—and He asked us to follow His example.
“Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved.” – Mark 16:16
“Go and make disciples… baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” – Matthew 28:19-20
